Technology

Since flexographic printing belongs to water-based printing, it is easy to cause paper swelling when it encounters water or ink. The local unevenness after printing affects the next printing and is also easy to cause wrinkles. At the same time, the easily swellable printing material exacerbates the fluctuation of tension, making the overprint accuracy fluctuate greatly, making it difficult to produce good products. Secondly, due to the poor moisture resistance of toilet paper, after contacting with the printing plate, it is easy to bring the loose fibers on the paper to the plate, resulting in a paste plate, making it impossible to print continuously, and more seriously affecting the printing quality and yield rate. Ordinary facial tissue is a simple combination of two or three layers of wrinkle-free toilet paper, hinged, flexographically printed, and then embossed by toothed rollers and paper foil rollers. Most of China's napkins belong to this type. Nowadays, most of the napkins on European and American tables are micro-sizing and compounding before printing. Such napkins are flat, wrinkle-free, textured and heavy. There is also a special product, namely micro-glue composite products, whose printing layer is in the middle of the three-layer structure, so it has a good texture and flexibility, and the product surface is more beautiful. Domestic printers should try to change the embossing and laminating method to micro-sizing and laminating before printing, so that the quality of napkins can have a qualitative leap. In addition, domestic napkins should also make greater improvements in materials to narrow the gap with foreign products. For example, try to use higher purity wood pulp to produce base paper, add enough anti-moisture agent, and strive to meet printing requirements in terms of surface flatness and moisture resistance.
