Source Protection: Sustainable Forest Management

LANGQIAO protect the environment from the source. All wood pulp raw materials come from sustainably managed forests certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). These forests employ a scientific rotational logging system, planting several new seedlings for every tree cut down, ensuring the continuous regeneration of forest resources. We establish long-term partnerships with our suppliers, jointly promoting a "responsible procurement" policy and rejecting any timber involving old-growth forests or illegal logging.

Water Recycling System: Papermaking is a water-intensive industry, but through a closed-loop water treatment system, we have increased the reuse rate of production water to over 85%, significantly reducing water consumption and wastewater discharge.

Clean Energy Transition: Three years ago, we began installing solar panels on our factory roofs. Currently, 30% of our production energy comes from solar power, and we plan to increase this proportion to 50% in the next five years.

By-product Recycling: We cooperate with local agriculture to convert by-products such as waste paper pulp and bark generated during the production process into organic fertilizers or biomass fuels, achieving a "zero waste" goal.

Chlorine-free Bleaching Technology: We use advanced ECF (elemental chlorine-free) and TCF (totally chlorine-free) technologies to avoid harmful substances produced by traditional chlorine bleaching, protecting aquatic ecosystems.

Vegetable Oil Ink Printing: All colored paper products use environmentally friendly inks such as renewable soybean oil ink, reducing volatile organic compound emissions.

Lightweight Design: Through process improvements, we reduce the weight of the paper while maintaining strength, allowing each ton of pulp to produce more products and reduce transportation energy consumption.

Circular Economy: Promoting Post-consumer Recycling

LANGQIAO actively build a "recycling loop" for paper:

Establishing a Recycling Network: We cooperate with over 200 communities, schools, and enterprises nationwide, setting up dedicated waste paper recycling points and providing door-to-door recycling services. Innovative Recycling Process: We have invested in R&D and successfully developed a series of high-quality recycled paper products made from 100% post-consumer waste paper.  Their whiteness and smoothness are comparable to virgin pulp products, breaking the stereotype that "recycled paper equals low-quality paper."

Consumer Education: We hold an annual "Paper Recycling Journey" environmental education program, educating the public about paper recycling.  This program has reached over 100,000 people.

Green Culture: A Commitment from the Inside Out

Environmental protection is not just a technical issue, but also a cultural concept. We promote "green office practices," achieving a 98% double-sided printing rate for internal documents; implementing paperless meetings; and providing employees with 8 hours of paid environmental volunteer service time annually. In 2023, we also published the industry's first "Carbon Footprint White Paper," transparently disclosing carbon emission data for the entire product lifecycle, from raw materials to recycling.
